Prototype notice. This is a working prototype. It is not operated as a commercial service, it is not affiliated with or endorsed by BandLab Technologies, and email delivery is not switched on. Do not rely on it to store anything you cannot afford to lose.
1. What this is
Progression Studio is an education platform for music production. Accounts are free. You keep ownership of everything you create.
2. Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account. Give us an address you can actually receive mail at. If you are under 18 you must provide a guardian's address, and your account stays limited until they approve it.
3. Your work
Your music, lyrics and submissions remain yours. You grant us only the narrow licence needed to display them to your teacher, your class and - where you have chosen to share them - the community. We do not sell your work, train models on it, or license it onward.
4. Ranks and certificates
Ranks, badges and certificates record what you completed here. They are issued in good faith and may be revoked if they were obtained by fraud. They are not an accredited academic qualification.
5. Conduct
The code of conduct forms part of these terms. Accounts may be muted, suspended or closed for breaching it. Moderation authority is tiered: nobody may act on an account at or above their own tier.
6. Third-party services
Linking a BandLab account is optional and governed by BandLab's own terms. We store the identifiers needed to confirm the link and, where you have authorised it, tokens to read your projects. You can disconnect at any time.
7. Availability
No uptime is promised. Features may change or be withdrawn.
8. Ending it
Close your account whenever you like. Export your data first from your settings.
