Privacy Policy

What we hold

• Account - username, email, display name, password hash.
• Learning record - lessons completed, quiz attempts, assignments, grades, points ledger, certificates.
• Linked BandLab identity - handle, user id, and (only with OAuth) access tokens. Stored so we can confirm the link and credit your work.
• Content - posts, comments, lyric drafts, project links.
• Operational logs - sign-in events, moderation actions, integration calls, with IP addresses.

What we do not do

No advertising. No selling or sharing of personal data. No behavioural profiling. No training of machine-learning models on your work.

Under-18 accounts

If you register as under 18 we ask for a guardian address and email a consent request. Until it is approved the account cannot post publicly or join a class. See the safeguarding policy.

Your rights

Export everything we hold from your settings, at any time, in plain JSON. Ask us to correct or delete it by writing to support@psp.cam.

Retention

Account data is kept while the account is open. Moderation and audit records are kept longer because they exist to protect other people.

Where it lives

On the server operating psp.cam. Linking BandLab sends requests to BandLab; nothing else leaves this system.
